El Capitan Wall Hanging - Rockface

Our Rockface Wallhanging reimagines the mountainous silhouettes of traditional Chinese landscapes through Fromental’s distinctive lens. Originally inspired by a volume of works by artist Lui XiBo discovered by Tim and Lizzie on trip to China, the design celebrates the rhythm and richness of geological formations. Each wallhanging is crafted using cut-paper collage techniques, where bold sections of hand-dyed silk and gilded paper are assembled into a dramatic composition of texture and tone. The result is a striking work of art that evokes the monumental beauty of nature, suspended in a moment of quiet stillness.
