Our Woodgrain cushion is inspired by some beautiful oak floorboards at our co-founders Tim and Lizzie’s home. These boards have had their grain blasted, then filled with gold, before being stained and varnished. Now crystalised in cushion-forn, the pattern is depicted using a silk velvet with cotton over-embroidery. A background of cream silk velvet plays host to details in shades of chestnut, lending contrast and definition to our Woodgrain design. Bronze is a perennial favourite here at Fromental, comprised of mustard and brown. Rich, warm, tones like this are to us very earthy, very reassuring.
